Business Development and Operations

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated Business Development and Operations professional who personifies SVI core values to give and “make people and things better than we found them” and is ready to work with our senior executives to growth, care for, and add value to our clients, prospects, and wider network, and optimize internal company processes with the goal of taking a high impact role in the long term.

We're looking for a team member:

  • Is enthusiastic, coachable, and reliable, and with a natural aptitude for technology.  Working experience in sales/account management, specialist skills in administrative, financial, or human resources management, and an understanding of project and product planning are a bonus

  • Is organized and can keep calm in the face of multiple priorities in a high-growth, high-volume environment

  • Writes and communicates well, and has an eye for detail and accuracy

  • Is self-motivated and can work independently, but also enjoys driving and managing cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with a team

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills, believes in overcommunication, and will not hesitate to jump on a call with a client or teammate if need be

  • Has a high level of transparency and integrity and with a strong work ethic

You’ll be responsible for shadowing, executing, and systemizing the following:

  • Contribute to creating new sales opportunities by contacting inbound leads and building and maintaining relationships with prospects

  • Proactively support the Head of Business Development in writing and delivering proposals that clearly and accurately reflect the company’s value proposition

  • Assist with client meeting preparation including sourcing and production of relevant data and material

  • Ensure timely handling of client requirements and any necessary administrative work to progress proposal

  • Drive Sales Transformation and operational excellence - optimize sales process by adopting new ways of doing tasks and projects and continuously looking for improvement opportunities

  • Support in creating a strategic roadmap for Sales and Marketing, with a focus on key market segments through market research, competitive intelligence, and process standardization to maximize resource utilization in go to market initiatives

  • Contribute to the development and drafting of plans to implement new policies, programs, and/or operating procedures of strategic significance to the company while maintaining quality standards

  • Create and maintain a variety of documents, including client meeting minutes, account documentation, and process guides

  • Perform other duties that ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of the company
